The Better Business Bureau is an organization that assesses companies on behalf of consumers, and monitors them for their customer service, reliability and security. In order to achieve the BBB Online Reliability logo displayed on our pages, VillaDirect has met or exceeded the criteria in accordance with the rules and regulations proscribed by the National organization, and is regularly assessed for its compliance.
The Vacation Rental Managers Association (VRMA) is a professional trade association for the short-term/vacation property management industry. Membership in the association is limited to professional property management companies, their suppliers and associates. Membership in VRMA indicates that the VillaDirect aspires to a Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice and continues to learn the latest trends and developments in the industry. Visit Florida is the state tourism body for Florida. Formerly known as FLAUSA, Visit Florida is both an on-line and print resource for guests visiting the state, and provides information on attractions, nature, events, accommodations, and much more. VillaDirect has been a Partner member of Visit Florida for over 7 years, and is featured on the Visit Florida website.
The Central Florida Property Managers Association operates to promote the benefits of Orlando vacation homes for guests in central Florida. Companies (such as VillaDirect) who are members of the CFMPA must also commit to a code of ethics in business practice, and must ensure that all of their Florida vacation rental properties are fully licensed with both the state and individual county authorities. The Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) in the state of Florida inspects every Florida vacation home, Disney vacation town home and Orlando vacation condo that VillaDirect offers to guests. The inspection ensures that the property offered to you complies with statute 509 (part 1) of the Florida legislature. Each home is licensed by the state of Florida on an annual basis. If a guest encounters any problem which falls within the purview of the regulations, the company will (as always) make every reasonable commercial effort to rectify the problem during the guests stay.
