One of the best basketball teams in the Eastern USA - Orlando Magic has its home in Orlando, and - if you're a basketball 'nut' - you won't want to miss the opportunity to visit their shop and see the home court.
If you want to take in a game - then you've come to the right place - but be warned that it's pricey, and tickets are as rare as the eggs that Stuff (the team mascot) produces!

So you want to shoot some hoops? There are lots of places in Kissimmee and Orlando where you can go one-on-one or play a press court if you really want to work up that sweat. If you're staying at a VillaDirect vacation home in one of the communities shown below, you'll have the benefit of an on-site basketball court for your use while you're on vacation - whenever you like (provided it's not in use by other guests!). Tips for Guests |
| If you're going to see one of the baseball games - make sure that you book seats as near to the field as possible! Sitting in the gods here isn't the best of experiences - even though it's not the largest stadium you'll ever visit. |
| If you are a race-nut - then don't miss the chance to do the Richard Petty Driving Experience. But we warned, you will be unable to book if you wait until t you arrive! We recommend that guests book at least 3 months in advance for this ultimate day out. |
| Make sure that you check out the Disney web site to see what other scheduled sports events are on during your stay. Disney hosts many such events, including major PGA and ATA tournaments - so you can always spend some time watching others sweat it out! |

| Guests staying at VillaDirect properties should travel on Highway 192 to the Disney World Drive exit and follow the sign for the Osceola Parkway. Turn right off the exit ramp of the Osceola Parkway and travel to the next intersection. Turn right at the traffic lights and follow the signs. |

Fishing is one of the best activities for many of our guests when traveling to Florida. Our fresh water lakes and shallow inter-costal waters offer unparalleled opportunities to 'hook' a Bass - all in the glorious sunshine. If you want to, there's even the opportunity to drive out to the coast and do some deep-sea fishing (if you've never done this before - make sure you do it this trip!). One of the most popular activities for guests visiting Orlando has to be the golf. The warm climate, fabulous weather combines with award winning courses and discount golf equipment shops to ensure that it's a golfers paradise. Because there are so many other activities for the rest of the family, golfers often vacation here so that they can play without feeling guilty! And there are so many courses to choose from! Choose from family-fun mini golf courses, to driving ranges, to fabulous award winning championship courses. |

| Most of the golf clubs in the area will allow visitors to play for a reasonable green fee. Make sure that you use one of the buggies available for rent, and that you take advantage of the pit-stops for soft drinks to be found around many of the courses. |

The guided trails at Horse World are a fabulous way to experience a side of Florida and Orlando seldom seen by most tourists. Rides are available for everyone, from tiny tots to the most seasoned veterans. |

Each 'Trail' is carefully designed to give guests the most from their time on horseback - providing an insight to the nature and wildlife of Central Florida. If you've never ridden before, then there are riding lessons available - some guests even take a couple of lessons before they go out on a trail. There's also a kids riding camp every Saturday morning from 9:00am to 12:00 noon where they can learn about safe riding, horse care, and stable management. |

| We recommend that guests buy and apply insect repellant prior to arrival at Horse World, as the trails go through the nature preserves, and you will appreciate the forethought. |
