The 4,000 square foot club house at Emerald Island provides high speed Internet access with a number of computer terminals available for guests use. Or choose to sun yourself as you meet other guests around the heated community pool and spa pool. Kids of all ages will want to stop at the video games room, or play at the video arcade while you lie out by the large sparkling swimming pool and watch the little ones have a ball in the splash area tot lot. There's even a sundry shop in the reception area if you run short of sun block or need a drink and a snack! Emerald Island is ideally located for fantastic vacations on Disney's doorstep, with some of the best shops and restaurants in Kissimmee just a couple of minutes away, and Disney less than 3 short miles from this Orlando vacation rental.

"The Tahitian" has a spacious family room to relax in together during the day or evening, with sumptuous sofas and love-seats, upscale window treatments, coffee table, occasional tables with lamps, and an entertainment center with a big-screen TV, VCR, DVD player and sound system - so you can watch your favorite movie, or listen to the music that you love (you'll have to bring it!). Step out from the family room, through the sweeping doors on to the lanai with table and cushioned chairs, and a stunning extra-large pool deck, sparkling clear waters of the pool and bubbling 6-guest spa pool (both the pool and spa pool can be optionally heated). The pool deck is provided with a removable safety fence for extra added protection for young infants should you need it, and all doors leading on to the deck area have been provided with additional safety locks and switch-able alarms.
As if that's not enough entertainment - the garage at "The Tahitian" has been converted to a games room, with an air-hockey table, Foosball table, and an electronic basketball game for the kids to enjoy whenever they like! If you need to surf the web during your stay, the owner has thoughtfully provided high speed internet access* in the home.
Enjoying family meals together while on vacation couldn't be simpler. Choose to eat out at one of the many fine restaurants within minutes of "The Tahitian" - or choose to prepare a fabulous family feast or a quick snack in the well equipped kitchen, and then enjoy the meal together at the breakfast bar, nook or formal dining room...or simply go out and enjoy the food al-fresco by the pool.
Sleeping accommodation at "The Tahitian" is - as you would expect - up-scale and luxurious. Choose from one of 2 bedroom suites with king-size beds, or 2 further 'junior' master bedrooms also with king-size beds. Each master bedroom suite provides spacious and gracious, restful luxury accommodation, with a king-size pillow-top bed, night stands with lamps, dresser, cable TV's, DVD players and VCR's, walk-in or spacious closets, and en-suite bathrooms. Two of the master bathrooms provide his 'n' hers vanity basins, walk-in shower, corner "Roman" tub, and private toilet. The other 2 master bedrooms each have bathrooms with walk-in showers or bath/showers, toilets and vanity basins for comfort. A fifth bedroom provides a queen-size bed with all of the creature comforts.
Two further bedrooms are the perfect place for the kids to rest – one offering 2 bunk beds (sleeps 4 excited children!) and the other with 2 twin beds. Both have nightstands, cable TV's and adjacent family bathrooms. Finally, one of the sumptuous sofas in the lounge can be converted to a sleeper sofa if required.
The stunning kitchen has been fully equipped with everything that you could need to cook up that special family meal, or rustle up a snack. There's a gourmet-style island to prepare food on, and you can choose to eat at either the elegant "formal" dining room area, or in the smaller breakfast area.
