Celebration – A Sci-Fi 4th of July
Start the day off with a breakfast or a brunch at one of the many restaurants that offer a “4th Special” here in Kissimmee – then make your way over to Celebration for the parade! This “little town that Disney built” has an annual parade through the town center that usually starts around 10am and runs for around an hour. After that – stick around and visit one of the many restaurants and family eateries in the town center, or drive around the leafy streets and neighborhoods.
At 7:00 pm the party really starts. Celebrate the 4th by joining the Celebration “Sci-Fi 4th of July” Party that features a movie/Sci-Fi themed costume contest for BIG prizes. Stick around for drinks, food, music and fun and wait for the fantastic fireworks spectacular that’s synchronized with a Sci_Fi themed soundtrack.
Enjoy bounce houses for the kids, live music by Katty Shack, Gina Marie Inacandela, DJ Tami and more. The show is hosted by Mark Daniel. Dance till your feet drop off at this wonderful venue to celebrate the 4th with the locals.

It’s all simulcast on our local radio XL106.7 – so if you can’t make it, you can listen in (if you’re not in town, you can pick up XL106.7 on iHeart Radio)!
And of course, no 4th of July bash is complete without fireworks! The event goes from 4:00 until 11:00 p.m. and the fireworks start exploding at Cranes Roost Park at around 9:30 p.m. Be sure to check out the event page for the latest details on artists, food, parking, rules, etc., before you go!

After that, there’s live music by Room 2 for 35 minutes, followed by the National Anthem, which will be sung by Alyssa Harrison. Then there’s live music and DJ mixes until the fireworks start at 9:15 p.m (weather permitting). The fireworks are synchronized with a mix of musiq from DJ Bradmaster.

4th of July at Walt Disney World Magic Kingdom
Hundreds (if not thousands) of families spend their 4th of July at Walt Disney World Magic Kingdom. But here’s a tip – go on the 3rd July – it’s the same show, but it’s less crowded!
Disney is known for going all out to celebrate the good ol’ US of A, and you’ll be able to find stellar celebrations at the Magic Kingdom, Epcot AND Hollywood Studios this year.
The Magic Kingdom honors America with traditional American songs playing while fireworks light up the sky behind the Cinderella Castle (get the tissues out!), while Epcot and Hollywood Studios celebrate the 4th with unique, choreographed fireworks and light shows the whole family will love.
Whatever your plans are for July 4th celebrations – if you want to do it in style – make sure to include one of the Disney theme parks on your list.
