Toy Story Land at Hollywood Studios
Opening 30th June 2018 – be the first!
When it opens, guests visiting Disney’s new Toy Story Land at Hollywood Studios will have a great time with Woody, Jessie, Buzz, and Andy’s other beloved toys right in Andy’s backyard. Rides include Slinky Dog Dash, Alien Swirling Saucers, and an update to Toy Story Mania, an interactive 4-D arcade experience.
Toy Story Land gives you a “shrinking” feeling because, as with so many things Disney, everything else is larger than life. You are the size of the toys, or is it the other way round?
Slinky Dog Dash is a roller coaster Andy built from his Mega Coaster Play Kit. You get to ride Slinky Dog! Thanks, Andy!
Alien Swirling Saucers is a space themed play set that Andy won from Pizza Planet. Little green aliens swirl around in their flying saucers with guests following along in their rocket ship toys. “The Claw” hangs overhead while every child hopes he or she is chosen.
You will walk through a new carnival game box to experience Toy Story Mania. This attraction has been around since 2008, when it quickly became a guest-favorite attraction at the park. It has now been expanded with a third track. Even more guests can get in on the action taking aim at 3D objects – using everything from baseballs to cream pies – in a variety of whimsical, fast-paced games.
Woody’s Lunch Box – well, it’s really Andy’s lunch box that he’s dropped on its side – inside they serve up tasty meals and old-fashioned soda floats from a walk-up window setting.
The entire land serves as a visual celebration of Andy’s toys including Crayons, Cooties, Green Army Men, Rubik’s Cubes, Tinkertoys, and other familiar toys and game pieces all incorporated into the landscape.

After reading a few complaints in the reviews, I wasn’t sure what to expect when we walked into the house.
As soon as we walked in, smelled clean and looked better then the photos. Very impressed!
Some complaints I read, like trash still in the outside trash cans or issues with the WiFi did also happen to me, but the WiFi issues were few and an easy fix by just turning the WiFi off and then back on with my phone. The trash outside, no big deal, 1) we didn’t have an issue because we didn’t fill up the empty cans inside and 2) I just read the rules/instructions of the house and just put the cans at the curb for pick up. Not a crazy request when using some ones house, this isn’t a full service hotel.
My particular house was located very close, no more then 5-20mins from all major locations. Universal Studios, Disney World, Walmart and Outlets shopping.
From the beginning, Villa Direct staff was extremely nice, always answered any questions and never misled me.
The quote of the house is what I paid, no hidden costs like I sometimes see at hotels.
For a family of 4, so much room.
Nice to put the kids to bed, in their own rooms and then have alone time in the pool. Good luck doing that at a hotel, biggest reason I got this house.
Don’t think I will ever use a hotel again... 1) basically same price or cheaper then say a Disney Hotel. 2) Way more room 3) Privacy 4) saving major $$$ eating a few meals in the house, giving you extra to spend in the parks or on souvenirs.
Really have nothing but good things to say and can’t say I have any complaints.

Really love the place we rented. Was worried that the pool wouldn’t heat up enough but I am more than THRILLED! They came out and turned on. The pool had been 72 degrees. By evening it was 84-85 and the next day 88 degrees which is perfect for us
The house is exactly as advertised. Would book thru them again
Each time I have stayed with Villa direct I have enjoyed it. The houses are always nice and very clean the staff is always super friendly and I have told many of my friends and family members to use them and a lot of them actually do use villa direct now and they tell others as well we have never had any complaints
