Toy Story Land at Hollywood Studios
Opening 30th June 2018 – be the first!
When it opens, guests visiting Disney’s new Toy Story Land at Hollywood Studios will have a great time with Woody, Jessie, Buzz, and Andy’s other beloved toys right in Andy’s backyard. Rides include Slinky Dog Dash, Alien Swirling Saucers, and an update to Toy Story Mania, an interactive 4-D arcade experience.
Toy Story Land gives you a “shrinking” feeling because, as with so many things Disney, everything else is larger than life. You are the size of the toys, or is it the other way round?
Slinky Dog Dash is a roller coaster Andy built from his Mega Coaster Play Kit. You get to ride Slinky Dog! Thanks, Andy!
Alien Swirling Saucers is a space themed play set that Andy won from Pizza Planet. Little green aliens swirl around in their flying saucers with guests following along in their rocket ship toys. “The Claw” hangs overhead while every child hopes he or she is chosen.
You will walk through a new carnival game box to experience Toy Story Mania. This attraction has been around since 2008, when it quickly became a guest-favorite attraction at the park. It has now been expanded with a third track. Even more guests can get in on the action taking aim at 3D objects – using everything from baseballs to cream pies – in a variety of whimsical, fast-paced games.
Woody’s Lunch Box – well, it’s really Andy’s lunch box that he’s dropped on its side – inside they serve up tasty meals and old-fashioned soda floats from a walk-up window setting.
The entire land serves as a visual celebration of Andy’s toys including Crayons, Cooties, Green Army Men, Rubik’s Cubes, Tinkertoys, and other familiar toys and game pieces all incorporated into the landscape.

I have rented using Villa Direct as my property management team for the last 5 years. I have done as much research as possible prior to making a booking. All 5 units have been in the same community, Windsor Hills, which I like very much. The layout in each has been similar, so after staying in the first, there were no big surprises as far as floor plan is concerned. When I got into the units, there might have been small issues such as cleanliness of the carpet, lack of a can opener in what I would consider to be a basically equipped kitchen. There has always been a timely response to these concerns. On a personal note, someone recently took my walker, which I had left outside so that it would be handy when I came back from grocery shopping, to carry my purchases up to the 4th floor. When Lisa Allen, of the V.D. team found out about my dilemma, she asked if she could send someone out to help me by assembling the new walker I had bought to replace the old one. I have always found their representatives to be caring and professional.
We stayed at "Fairy Tales" in the Storey Lake community. The townhouse was EVERYTHING!!! Exactly like the online pictures; spacious and spectacular. Everyone was very happy, excited and comfortable!! Money well spent. We will definitely book with Villa Direct in the future!!!
