Snow is falling in Celebration, Florida!
The day after Thanksgiving is known as one of the busiest shopping days of the year. But in Celebration - the little town near Disney, the day marks another tradition – the beginning of Celebration’s nightly Snowfall down MARKET STREET.
Guests staying at one of our vacation homes in Orlando can visit and watch the "snow" falling.
This annual event begins on Friday, November 24th and runs hourly at 6, 7, 8, and 9 p.m. for ten minutes. The snow falling repeats every night until New Year’s Eve.
Celebrations' snowfall is created using tiny soap bubbles. Many children enjoy playing in the accumulated "snowfall," getting oddly "dirty" from the "drifts" of soap.
This year, the month-long festival will be packed with holiday essentials, including photos with Santa, holiday carolers and the Celebration Express train ride operated by NEVrland.
Santa and Mrs. Claus will be in their chalet home, taking pictures every night until Christmas Eve. Horse and carriage and electric train rides around the town center are offered and holiday carolers perform every Friday and Saturday evenings.

But the elves at MARKET STREET at CELEBRATION have something else up their sleeves – a limited edition snow globe of Celebration.
This commemorative gift is available for shoppers who spend $150 or more in one day at any of the shops and restaurants at MARKET STREET at CELEBRATION, while supplies last. Shoppers may bring their receipts to Market Street Gallery or Celebration Town Tavern, and receive this free commemorative gift, valued at $45 retail. With only 2,100 globes made, the custom, hand-painted, resin & glass dome stands 5 ½ inches tall, and represents Celebration’s home styles and signature commercials buildings, including the post office and movie theater. The Celebration Snow Globes are available exclusively in Celebration with one-day purchases exceeding $150. “We’re excited about this limited edition offering because it truly represents the beauty of the community,” said Barbara Muenks, manager of Celebration’s town center. Each piece is individually numbered, and will be available from November 28 through December 24.
