All American Soap Box Derby Rally
| Kids and youths (ages 8 thru 17) from Central Florida, including kids from Sanford and Orlando will gather at Derby Park in Sanford on the weekend of April 21-22nd 2007, to watch and compete in the downhill, gravity-powered soapbox derby rally. All of the racers are built by the kids (and maybe with some parental involvement?) and will speed down the purpose-build soap-box derby track at Derby Park. Derby Park in Sanford features reservable picnic shelters, BBQ grills, restrooms, playground equipment and tot-lot, sand volleyball courts, a fitness area...and the Soap Box Derby race track. |

The All-American Soap Box Derby is the premier youth and family oriented racing program in the United States and an official NASCAR Youth Initiative. Established in 1933, it is an American tradition. The Sanford race is one of 300 sanctioned "rally" races held throughout the country each season. |

We had a GREAT time staying in Bella Verona. It was everything that we expected. Our children had the best time in the pool and in the game room.
