An Orlando vacation is an unforgettable experience, but with so many exciting things to do and parks to visit, it can easily become an expensive experience as well. That’s why we’re introducing a “Free in Orlando” series, where you can find the top free things to do in Orlando each month! Here’s what’s on the docket for June:
The City of Winter Park and Enzian collaborate to produce the Popcorn Flicks cinema series in Winter Park. It’s normally held on the second Thursday of each month and features classic films for the whole family. This month’s featured film will be Batman, starring Michael Keaton.

You can grab a beer and some munchies at the Enzian’s outdoor Eden Bar, all while enjoying a FREE outdoor movie on the lawn. There’s even movie trivia before the show! This month’s featured film is Rocky IV, where Rocky takes on the seemingly unstoppable Ivan Drago.

You can bring blankets, chairs, snacks and the whole family to catch a wide variety of kid-friendly movies at Movieola. Food is available for purchase as well, leashed pets are welcome, and you can show up early to secure a great spot and enjoy pre-movie activities including croquet, corn hole, washers, music and more. This month’s featured film is Maleficent with Angelina Jolie!

Want to flex your creative muscles while enjoying a great glass of wine? Class is held in the Tooting Otter Craft Beer, Wine Bar and General Store on Miami Springs Drive in the Longwood area.
When: June 3, 6-8 p.m.
First Friday is a free entry monthly event where you can shop, stroll and sip your way through beautiful downtown Baldwin Park. With live music, free samples, food and drink specials (plus much more), there’s something for everyone at First Fridays.
When: June 5, 5:30-9 p.m.

The Orange County Library System’s story telling program stops by Leu Gardens the first Monday of every month to help you share songs and stories with your little ones. The event is indoors and free, and hot dogs and popsicles are available from popular Orlando-area vendors.

Etsy Craft Party is an event that takes place every year and is hosted by Central Florida Artisans’ Guild. This year the guild has added a craft fair to the event and it is open to the community. Free swag bags (while supplies last) free crafting and demos, prize drawings and food trucks. Over 30 amazing artisan vendors will be on hand.

On the third Thursday of every month, thousands of visitors converge Downtown to celebrate art, food, technology and business. Along the way, people partake in an evening of sights, sounds, food, shopping and cosmopolitan living.

Alive After 5 is Central Florida’s largest recurring monthly street party with live music, local artists, food and craft beers in a beautiful historic town. You can enjoy great local restaurants, art galleries, gift shops, antique stores, nightlife and a variety of other unique businesses.

Nathaniel’s Hope Make ‘m Smile Festival is the largest party celebrating kids with special needs in the entire Unnited States! It’s an annual community festival held on the first Saturday of every June, and it’s all about creating a fun environment for special needs children and their families to enjoy.
