The 2006 FUNAI Classic at WALT DISNEY WORLD® marks the 36th year of the PGA TOUR event here in Central Florida. This is your chance to experience the tradition, excitement and classic moments of PGA TOUR action on Disney's Palm and Magnolia Golf Courses.

The 2006 FUNAI Classic at Walt Disney World is held from the 19th October through Sunday 22nd October 2006. For a little history, beginning with a three year winning streak by Jack Nicklaus in 1971, 1972, and 1973, this event continues to bring the best players in the world to Orlando, including past champions Tiger Woods, Vijay Singh and Mark O'Meara.

Come and see last year's champion, Lucas Glover, one of the PGA TOUR's top young talents. Last season Glover captured his first PGA TOUR victory at the 2005 FUNAI Classic with an amazing 30 yard bunker shot on the 18th to earn the victory. With the victory it moved him up to 28th on the money list, enough to get him into the season-ending PGA TOUR Championship for the first time.

Being a spectator at a PGA TOUR event on Disney courses is something extra special. Also new for 2006 is the Bright House Kids' Zone, an area next to the Disney's Magnolia driving range that has an entertainment center involving video games, snacks and refreshments for children.
