Holiday lights in Celebration, Florida
Every year, the town of Celebration marks the holiday season in the brightest way possible...a trip down any residential street will display thousands of holiday lights adorning homes.
Celebration has grown-up to become the town to visit in the heart of the Walt Disney World area. Now 10 years old, locals know that the residents put on a show every holiday, from early December through to early in the New Year – with front porches and front yards covered in all things festive to make you smile and become all sentimental. Even the hardest "Scrooge" will find their hearts melting. Some residents go to extraordinary lengths to make their “show” the best in town. Take a leisurely drive around the streets and avenues in the evenings during December to enjoy the decorations that light-up at night between 7:00pm and 9:00pm. Make sure that you take the time to stray away from the main streets - as you will find some absolutely stunning light shows and decorations!
We recommend that VillaDirect guests who are staying in one of our Vacation homes in Florida during the holidays visit the town for a feast of fun, and also make the time to see the Snow falling in Celebration which is shown nightly (every hour) from 6:00pm through 9:00pm.
Located close to all of the Orlando vacation homes that VillaDirect manage, Celebration offers guests a special glimpse in to home-town life, with safe, wide, attractive streets, and a down-town area that’s right out of the 50’s….complete with an ice-cream parlor, cinema, bar, restaurants and shops selling gifts for everyone. It’s a great place to visit and walk around all-year round, with parks, lakes, and some award-winning homes. Originally conceived by Walt Disney himself, the town is almost finished, with residents and guests enjoying the many features of the town.
Located just over the road from the VillaDirect office, a short drive to Celebration at night is a must during your stay. Make sure to turn on holiday music on your car stereo and enjoy the spectacle!

Our Family stayed at the Floridian Retreat at the Emerald Resort celebrating our eldest son's high school graduation, and our youngest son turning 5. We still can't stop RAVING about it. The younger kids had a wonderful time with the private pool and being close to the parks. The adults were elated with all of the bedrooms (7), bathrooms (6) and amenities. My 64 year old father (who is a pastor by the way) couldn't stay out of the game room playing pool with his 18 year old grandson. The Media Room was off the hook...as my kids would say. It was wonderful for our entire family, from all over the country to meet in one locale and have a beautiful time. Thank You VillaDirect for a PERFECT Vacation.
