| "Ay Caramba!". "Don't have a cow man!" The Simpsons are coming to town (and we hope they're not going to stay in one of the VillaDirect homes)! Everybody's favorite dysfunctional cartoon family are the stars of a new ride based on The Simpsons at Universal Studios in both Orlando and Hollywood. Guests staying in an Orlando vacation home from VillaDirect will be sure to make time to ride this new attraction during a day spent at Universal's "Ride the Movies" theme park. The ride is scheduled to open in Spring 2008 and will replace the (now closed) "Back to the Future" ride at Universal Orlando - becoming one of the feature attractions at this family favorite theme park. This fabulous new ride will use 80-feet tall movie screens, and motion simulation machines to give visitors an exciting and thrilling virtual reality ride through "Krusty Town". |
